3 Ways to Grow Your Biz (outside of Instagram)

Instagram can feel like a tease sometimes. She likes me, then she doesn’t. So we did some research and tried out other ways to grow our businesses outside of the gram and here it is!

Start Sending Emails

In 2020 email marketing accounted for 19.8% of purchases- that's huge! Make it easy for your customers to give you their email. Entice them with early access to your launch, free shipping, or 15% off their first purchase.

Add an opt-in for emails at checkout, and a pop up on your site. The better the offer, the more emails you get.

Text Me, Baby!

Text marketing can have an open rate of anywhere from 45% to 98% on av (according to a survey by gartner.com)

Important: Use this sparingly to announce a launch with a link to the shop, or a special sale going on. No one likes to be bombarded with texts!

There are loads of good texting platforms like Textmagic and Simple Texting that can be easily integrated with your website as well.

Promote opting into texts through your IG stories, email, and as apop up on your website.

Pin It! (Trust us)

80% of weekly pinners have discovered a new brand or product on Pinterest and shoppers on Pinterest spend 2x more per month than people on other platforms. (pinterest.com)

Start by pinning around 5 inspiring, on brand images a day to your board. being an active member of the Pinterest community increases your visibility.

Keep it simple, post your IG images/reels to your Pinterest and be sure to hashtag your post.

Pin your products from your shop (even if you are out of stock- it drives people to your website and they could land on something else they love!)
